From Train station
It is a straight road from the train station to STA Travel Oxford. There is only one main exit from the train station. as you exit the train station you follow the main road straight keeping left. you will pass the Royal oxford Hotel on your right then Jongeleurs comedy club also on your right. you will cross over a small bridge and see a large car park on your right. when the road veers left you want to cross over and walk straight on. the Opium Den restaurant will be on your right hand side. This is George street. walk a further 100 yards and you will see the large STA Travel Oxford on the next corner building directly opposite the Odeon cinema.
By Car
Oxford can be difficult to tackle by car if you are not used to the confusing one way systems. it is best to leave your car at one of the many park and rides surrounding the city and take a short bus ride into the city centre. Oxford city centre is small and STA Travel Oxford is based right in the centre.see city centre directions below.
By Bus
The main bus station is a one minute walk to the STA Travel office in Oxford. The last main street the bus leaves on entering the station is George street. alternatively there is a walkway passage out onto the square. we are at the far side of the square on the corner of George street.
Once in the city centre
Oxford city centre is set out on a basic grid system. there are only 4 or 5 main streets. George Street links with most of them. From Corn market street, the main shopping street right in the heart of Oxford. walk downhill towards Waterstones book shop on your right hand side. turn left at the end of the pedestrianised area. this is George street. we are 100 yards on the right from here. High street connects onto Cornmarket street at its only bend, near the city centre. If in any doubt ask anyone where the large Odeon is.
